Zimbabwe Disability Inclusive Arts and Culture (ZIDIAC) is a NON PROFIT MAKING multi-discipline organization dedicated to promoting the full participation, recognition, and empowerment of persons with disabilities through arts and cultural expression. It serves as a platform that celebrates diversity, fosters creativity, and advocates for equal opportunities within Zimbabwe’s cultural and creative industries. ZIDIAC works to ensure that disability inclusion becomes an integral and sustainable part of the nation’s artistic and cultural landscape. ZIDIAC designed to inspire moderate to severe People with Disabilities (PWDs) of all ages through training in the visual and performing arts, cultivating avenues of self-expression, personal achievement and life enrichment that come with mastering art techniques. The organization promote disability rights and inclusion through the use of multi-discipline arts and first of its kind Zimbabwe International Disability Arts and Culture Festival (ZIDIAC Fest) and Cultural Exchange Programs. The festival and Cultural Exchange programs work will be produced as part of the Zimbabwe International Disability Inclusive Arts and Culture entity alongside other works by leading artists with and without disabilities.

ZIDIAC FESTIVAL ZIMBABWE INTERNATIONAL DISABILITY INCLUSIVE ARTS FESTIVAL (ZIDIAC Fest) DEFINED: Zimbabwe International Disability Inclusive Arts Festival (ZIDIAC) is an annual arts festival designed to inspire moderate to severe People with Disabilities (PWDs) of all ages through training in the visual and performing arts, cultivating avenues of self-expression, personal achievement and life enrichment that come with mastering art techniques. The festival programs work will be produced as part of the Zimbabwe International Disability Inclusive Arts and Culture Festival along with leading artists with and without disabilities: ZIDIAC feature: Visual and Performing Arts that is performances, exhibitions and symposiums. The festival predominantly showcases Zimbabwean, continental and International artists with and without disabilities in collaboration with the following PWD Organizations in the spirit of cultural exchange Programs:

CULTURAL EXCHANGE PROGRAM Disability Inclusion and International Exchange ZIDIAC Cultural Exchange Program highlights the creativity of Zimbabwean , continental, and international artists—both with and without disabilities—through collaborations with local and International leading Arts and Organizations of People with Disabilities (OPDs). These include but not limited to Hodzeko Arts and Culture Association (HACA), High Voltage Poets, Amor Zimbabwe Trust, National Council for Disabled Persons of Zimbabwe (NCDPZ), Murombo Munhu Association, Zvishavane Mberengwa Disability Organization, and Midlands State University. Working in partnership with the Midlands State University Disability Resource Centre, embassies, and local authorities, this initiative forms part of the Zimbabwe Disability Inclusive Arts and Culture and Cultural Affairs. It advances disability-focused exchange programs while upholding the principles of Diversity, Equity, Inclusion, and Accessibility (DEIA), recognizing disability identity as an essential dimension of diversity. Dumisani Ndlovu is a dynamic and innovative creative arts director, published poet, media practitioner, communications executive, and public policy analyst, whose diverse skill set and extensive experience have made a significant impact across various sectors. As the founder of the Zimbabwe International Disability Inclusive Arts and Culture Festival (ZIDIAC Fest), Dumisani has been at the forefront of promoting disability inclusion and ensuring that the arts remain accessible to all. His commitment to advocacy for marginalized communities is reflected in his tireless efforts to create platforms that celebrate diversity and foster artistic expression. With a solid foundation in journalism, he has made substantial contributions to numerous media houses, including The Zimbabwean and The Times. Currently, he serves as a writer for Hericom Media, where his keen insights cover a broad spectrum of topics, from arts and development to humanitarian issues, court proceedings, crime, politics, and environmental news. Dr. Chief Ngungumbane is a trailblazing traditional leader from Mberengwa, Zimbabwe, who has made history by becoming one of the few traditional leaders to hold five degrees. His impressive academic achievements include a Doctor of Philosophy in Peace and Governance, four degrees from Zimbabwe Open University (including Psychology and Peace Leadership), and a law degree from the University of South Africa (Unisa). As a senator and chairperson of the Provincial Assembly of Chiefs, Dr. Chief Ngungumbane has demonstrated exceptional leadership, promoting peace, unity, and conflict resolution. His commitment to inclusivity and disability support is evident in his role on the Zimbabwe International Disability Arts and Culture Festival (ZIDIAC) Advisory Council. Professor Vongai Z. Nyawo is a renowned academic and researcher currently serving as the Director of Postgraduate Studies and Publications at Great Zimbabwe University. Her selfless efforts have positively impacted thousands of lives in Zimbabwe. As a spiritual leader, Prophetess Chivasa is committed to interceding for women in society, uplifting countless lives through her prayers and charitable endeavors. With humility and discretion, she supports vulnerable communities, including hosting annual birthday celebrations for homeless children and donating essential items to those in need. Her philanthropic work also extends to empowering widows and orphans, and providing educational support to underprivileged students. Elvis Musirinofa is a dedicated Human Resources professional and humanitarian worker, passionate about promoting the rights and welfare of People With Disabilities (PWDs) and other vulnerable groups. He founded Amor Zimbabwe Trust, a non-profit organization focused on transforming the lives of PWDs through Sexual and Reproductive Health Awareness and Advocacy. At HACA, Magazine has pioneered initiatives that redefine what’s possible for PWDs in artistic and advocacy spaces.
