ABOUT THE FOUNDER AND EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR
Dumisani Ndlovu is a multifaceted creative arts director, media practitioner, communications executive, and public policy analyst with a wealth of experience in strategic communications, stakeholder engagement, and team leadership. As the founder of the Zimbabwe International Disability Inclusive Arts and Culture Festival (ZIDIAC Fest), he has utilized his skills to promote disability inclusion and arts accessibility. With a background in journalism, Dumisani has worked with various media houses, including The Zimbabwean and The Times, and currently writes for Hericom Media, covering arts, development, humanitarian, courts, crimes, politics, and environment news. He holds a BSc Honours degree in Media and Society Studies and has received accolades for his work, including awards for his journalism. Additionally, Dumisani is a graduate of the SIVIO Institute’s advocacy program, further enhancing his expertise in public policy analysis.

PROF WILLIE CHIGIDI
Professor Willie Lungisani Chigidi is a renowned academic, researcher, and writer in African Languages and Literature. He holds a PhD from the University of South Africa and serves as a Professor at Midlands State University (MSU) in Zimbabwe, where he contributes to various University Committees.
Prof. Chigidi is a member of several professional organizations, including ISOLA, ALASA, and ZIWU. His research expertise spans African oral and written literature, indigenous knowledge systems, and African culture. He has published numerous book chapters, journal articles, and Shona textbooks for secondary schools.
As a distinguished Shona playwright, he has authored six published plays. Prof. Chigidi has also made significant contributions to promoting theatre arts, having led drama clubs at St Augustine’s School and Gweru Teachers College. He co-founded the Midlands Drama Association for Schools and Colleges and adjudicated at various drama festivals.
Additionally, he has served as a resource person at writers’ workshops, a panelist for human rights and democracy textbooks, and a translator of the Zimbabwe Constitution into Ndau language. Previously, he was a member of the University of Zimbabwe’s African Languages Research Institute (ALRI) Board of Management.
In 2024, he was appointed to the Zimbabwe International Disability Inclusive Arts and Culture Festival Advisory Council, further solidifying his impact in the arts and culture sector.

MHENE
Vincent Mhene is a seasoned journalist and News Editor at 98.4FM, with over 8 years of experience in radio news and current affairs production. He is a versatile reporter who has covered a wide range of topics, including business, environment, humanitarian, sports, arts, socio-economic, and political stories.
Mhene’s career in media began in 2014 as an intern at AB Communications, where he worked as a business news reporter for ZiFM Stereo in Harare. He was later reassigned to 98.4MidlandsFM (98.4FM) in Gweru as a news reporter and was appointed News Editor in 2020, a position he still holds.
Mhene has a strong educational background, holding a Bachelor of Science (Hons) Degree in Journalism and Media Studies from the National University of Science and Technology (NUST) and a Master of Science Degree in Journalism and Media Studies from NUST.
He is also the host and producer of several popular radio programs, including “The State of Midlands”, “Business Digest”, and “Inside Politics”.
REWARD SHOCKSON
Reward Shockson is a highly respected professional in social development and cultural heritage development and promotion. He possesses exceptional leadership skills, objectivity, integrity, diplomacy, and tact, making him an invaluable asset to the ZIDIAC Fest Advisory Council.
Shockson’s expertise includes:

PROPHETESS EMILY CHIVASA
Emily Chivasa is a renowned Zimbabwean religious leader and prophetess at the Miracle Mission Church of All Nations (MMCN), founded by her husband, Prophet Luke Chivasa. Alongside her husband, she plays an active role in the ministry, dedicating her life to spreading love, unity, hope, and charity throughout various communities. Her philanthropic efforts have positively impacted thousands of lives in Zimbabwe.
Prophetess Chivasa is committed to charitable work, making a significant difference in society. Notably, she conducts her philanthropic endeavors with humility and discretion, often shrouding her good deeds in secrecy. She avoids seeking recognition or publicity for her charitable acts, instead, focusing on the joy of giving and serving.

Recently, she was recommended to serve as an advisor for the Zimbabwe International Disability Inclusive Arts and Culture Festival (ZIDIAC), bringing spiritual flair to the event and supporting the inclusion and celebration of diverse abilities in the arts. Her involvement aims to promote love, acceptance, and empowerment for all.

Keith Zenda is a renowned, self-taught visual artist from Zimbabwe, born in 1985. He discovered his talent at age 10 and became a full-time artist in 2003. Despite being self-taught, Zenda has become one of the most influential artists of his generation, known for his unique style inspired by his rural upbringing and African culture.
Zenda’s achievements include:
– Establishing the Art Gallery and Studios in Gweru to showcase local art and provide a space for international artists to train and inspire local talents.
– Mentoring over 20 young artists and creating exhibition spaces to promote their work and attract tourism.
– Collaborating with the National Art Gallery of Zimbabwe, National Arts Council of Zimbabwe, and other organizations to promote cultural exchange programs.
